Meeting with the Doctor

In the center, a doctor will assist and guide individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the entire rehabilitation process. Additionally, we conduct screenings to identify cases of malnutrition in children and provide essential goods such as milk, nutritional powder, and supplements.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals with disabilities learn daily life skills through targeted exercises and activities. Also, the team will show to persons with disabilities how to use tools as the wheelchair.

Physiotherapy

Children and adults with disability can do exercises of physiotherapy with experts.

Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy uses food and nutrition to help manage or prevent health conditions. The goal is to support the body’s natural healing processes, promote overall wellness, and improve specific health outcomes through diet and proper nutrient intake.

Baskin

Baskin is a sport designed for people with disabilities that combines elements of basketball and other team games. It’s played on a regular basketball court, but the rules are adapted to make it accessible to everyone, no matter their physical or cognitive abilities.

Sabuni

Mothers of children with disabilities produce solid and liquid soap; through the activity, they learn how to lead a new business.

Garden Therapy

Garden Therapy for persons with disabilities is a therapeutic approach that involves engaging individuals in gardening activities to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. This form of therapy uses the natural environment to improve motor skills, enhance cognitive function, reduce stress, and foster a sense of accomplishment and connection with nature.

HeArt Therapy

At Heart Therapy Day, arts and crafts will offer children a chance to explore, create and grow - celebrating abilities through the joy of making something uniquely their own.

Rehabilitation services for children and adults with disabilities

The number of registered direct beneficiaries’ year to date is: 716.

​

Children (615) that are living with disabilities are provided with therapeutic exercise and intellectual intervention.

Children’s parents and caregivers are, as well, taught on how to work and train them in their everyday life.

We provide rehabilitation services for adults (101) including people with Parkinsonism, all sorts of paralysis, painful neck, back and muscles, chronically ill, post-surgical and fracture care which requires prolonged physical

Speech and cognitive therapy

When we talk about Disability does not only concern motor functions, but we are also talking about communication and cognitive issues.
In our center we provide speech therapy services to improve the ability of children to communicate and build relationships with others.

Training for parents, guardians,caregivers, local authorities and community

Nutrition services

We provide trainings to parents, guardians and caregivers of children living with disabilities depending on the challenges of an individual case.
In addition we provide training to local government leaders and their assistants on rights of PWDs (disability act 2010)

We conduct investigations to identify children's malnourishment and we provide them with goods such as milk, nutrition powder and nutrients.

We teach parents and guardians how to prepare food give them instructions on the hours they are required to feed them.

Counselling and Psychological Rehabilitation

We provide counselling and psychological rehabilitation to parents and care givers of children living with disabilities. We 
encourage them psychologically giving them the tools to be able cope the reality of their childrens' disabilities.

We also provide legal advices on the rights of PWDs.

School inclusion programs and community awareness

We collaborate with head teachers of various schools. Enrolling children living with disabilities in Schools and we follow up with the school to share and check their progress.

Community and Home Based Rehabilitation services and satellite centres

Professionals and experts provide home base rehabilitative service to the children and adults with paralysis and other illnesses which requires rehabilitative intervention and are not able to reach our centre.
Professionals and experts also provide rehabilitative service to the satellite centres to reach children who cannot reach the centre due to distance.

Provision of assistive devices

We produce various assistive devices, i.e., corner chair, special chairs, standing frames, toilet Commode, mattresses and pillows for therapeutic exercises depending on the individual needs.
